Once Upon a Time has released the first images of Robin Hood, played by Sean Maguire. The images give some new insight into who Robin Hood will be working with.

Sean Maguire was featured in Entertainment Weekly as the new Robin Hood on Once Upon a Time. Maguire replaces Tom Ellis, who had a single episode arc last year and was unable to return due to scheduling conflicts. Maquire’s Robin Hood looks to be involved in all the action as he joins forces with some well-known characters.

The images show Macguire working against a green screen, or in this case purple screen, along with Jamie Chung, who plays Mulan, and Michael Raymond James, who plays Neal.

Given the images of Robin Hood with Mulan and Neal, one is left to wonder what he will be doing in fairy tale land. When we last saw Robin Hood, he was being saved by Belle from Rumpel, and not just once, but twice.

There have also been rumors that Robin Hood could be Regina’s new love interest. If this is the case, then he and the others in fairy tale land will have to meet up with those who set off to Neverland.

Once Upon a Time season 3 premieres Sunday, September 29 at 8/7c on ABC.
