January is here and that means new movies and TV shows are now new on Netflix.

At the beginning of every month, the Netflix catalog gets an influx of new content. January is no different, and some of the titles that are available this month are some of our favorite movies ever. Our queues are currently too full, but it looks like they’re about to get even fuller.

The most notable new title on Netflix is of course Friends, one of the most popular TV shows of all time. With the addition of Gilmore Girls in October, two of the biggest shows of the last 20 years are now new on Netflix.

Netflix is also gaining two of the best indie films of this past summer in Chef and Frank. Jon Favreau’s Chef cleverly discusses his recent career (particularly his involvement with Marvel) and Frank is a very fun rock movie with a terrific performance from a masked Michael Fassbender.

All titles available January 1 unless noted otherwise.
