This weekend will welcome a new month, which means a slew of new titles coming to Netflix!
We love when a new month aligns with a weekend — it means we can spend our free time binging a bunch of just-released-on-Netflix shows or movies we haven’t seen in a while.
As always, Netflix has released a list of TV shows and movies that will be arriving on the streaming website in the month ahead.
Nostalgia seems to be the theme this month. Miss Boy Meets World? Watch the first season of the Disney Channel spinoff Girl Meets World. Miss everyone’s favorite book series Reading Rainbow? Watch the earliest episodes starring LeVar Burton. Miss Wet Hot American Summer? Luckily for all of us, Netflix just debuted a new prequel miniseries.
And for those of you who are getting ready for the new series of Doctor Who in September, you may want to binge series 8.

What will you be watching on Netflix in August?
And while it doesn’t premiere in August technically, it’s also worth noting that the Netflix Original Series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, a prequel to Wet Hot American Summer, hits Netflix today, July 31! The prequel miniseries welcomes back many of the original stars in the 2001 cult classic including Amy Poehler and Bradley Cooper.
