It’s been a big week for new singles. On Monday we heard Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop,” and this morning we have two other big singles to share.

Flying high off the success of her most recent single “Come & Get It,” Gomez has released a second single titled “Slow Down” from her forthcoming album Stars Dance. Though it’s much more suitable for dance clubs out of the box, “Slow Down” didn’t make us look forward to her new album the way “Come & Get It” does.

Selena Gomez’ new album Stars Dance will drop on July 23.

Brand new today is Beyoncé’s “Rise Up” for the movie Epic which opened on May 23. While it’s not part of her forthcoming album which seems to be taking its time making its debut (and where are the official single releases?), “Rise Up” is Queen B’s second solo track released this year. The first, “Bow Down,” may or may not be a part of her next album.

A third new Beyoncé song entitled “Grown Woman” leaked in full last month.

Throughout this summer, look forward to new albums from major artists like Kanye West, John Legend, the Backstreet Boys, and Chris Brown. Is this the type of music you were looking forward to this summer? We’re still hoping to hear more from other major artists that get permanently stuck in our heads, like Lady Gaga, Adele, and Katy Perry, who are due for new releases in the next year at the latest.
