Man of Steel finally hits theaters today, and in the latest clip we see Superman getting thrown around by one of his fellow female Kryptonians.
The latest Man of Steel has been released by MTV, and the clip features Superman in a brawl with Faora, one of the Kryptonians who follows General Zod to Earth to capture Superman. Faora is either incredibly strong, or she has found Superman’s weak spot as she throws him around a destroyed store in what is most likely Smallville, Kansas.
It’s interesting to see Superman basically getting tossed around like a ragdoll in this latest clip. He’s fighting Faora, played by Antje Traue, who is one of General Zod’s (Michael Shannon) minions. Some other clips were recently released which featured Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and it seems like she’ll definitely be an essential part of this film, and her character appears as tough and intelligent as Margot Kidder was in Christopher Reeves’ Superman films.
So far the reception of the film has been somewhat mixed, but fans seem to be very happy with the action that has been released for the film. A 13-minute featurette was released recently that featured loads of new footage from Man of Steel, along with interviews with the cast and crew.
Check out what we think it will take for Man of Steel to become a summer blockbuster, or if it will end up being another superhero bust.
Man of Steel’s release date is set for June 14 and stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, and Laurence Fishburne. Check out the official trailer for the film and several images released of the characters recently.
