A few shots of some promotional art for The Avengers: Age of Ultron give us a look at what The Vision will look like in the highly anticipated sequel.

Despite The Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer being a smash hit, it had exactly zero shots of actor Paul Bettany playing the film’s intriguing character: The Vision. In these latest images, we see The Vision smack in the middle of our favorite superheroes, and he looks like he could be quite important to the film. Check out the images below via CBM:

We’ve seen concept art of the character before, but we can definitely tell that the studio has taken design cues from actor Paul Bettany, who apparently did most of the film work with makeup and a full costume on. Surprisingly, no one got any sneak peeks of the actor on set, but these shots give us an idea of what we can expect to see on screen.

The Vision was created in the comics by Ultron, but many fans wondered whether Ultron would actually turn out to be an angry Jarvis in The Avengers sequel after Avengers animatics artist Federico D’Alessandro released some unused videos that showed he was disgruntled to find out he was becoming more intelligent than Tony Stark.

We think director Joss Whedon has probably written something entirely different for The Avengers’ sequel, and we’re definitely excited to see what the character is like on the big screen. He looks quite unique in the promotional art, and looks to be very different from the other superheroes we’ve grown to love.
