Says Spader on replacing the role left by Steve Carell:
“I can assure you I did not win some sort of contest to replace Steve Carell. I just thought, this show is fun, this character is strange and NBC asked me to sign on, so I said, ‘Absolutely.'”
The Office premieres on NBC September 21st!
