A new full length Iron Man 3 trailer is reportedly going to be attached to Disney’s Oz: The Great and Powerful when it hits theaters on March 8, and now there are reports that a description of the new trailer has been leaked.
The report comes from a leaked description over at Bleeding Cool, where they have two sources which reportedly sent them two separate descriptions of the new Iron Man 3 trailer and apparently the details of the two sources matched up. This leads us to believe that the description of the new trailer below may be true.
Now, I don’t want to go over and over the details when I haven’t even seen the trailer myself, but here are some key points that I’ve been told by two sources a piece.
The President of the United States appears and declares war on The Mandarin and The Ten Rings, his terrorist group.
There are more shots of The Mandarin, and he continues to threaten Tony personally.
As a result, Tony gets rather cross. He says something like: “You’ve made this personal. I’m coming for you, Mandarin.”
We see Tony and Rhodey flying in to battle, followed by a whole battalion of the other Iron Man armors. Tony calls them “his boys” and there’s dozens of them. They’re of all different looks and styles, some of them familiar, some of them new.
Indeed, the very last shot showcases one special suit of armour in particular, smashing through a wall. Neither of our Little Bleeders feel one hundred percent sure, having seen the fleeting shot only one time, but they both shared the same suspicion with me…could it really be Hulkbuster armour?
One interesting detail that intrigues us is the mention of the ‘Hulkbuster’ armor being seen at the end of the trailer. As this armor was created by Tony Stark in the comics to fight the Hulk, we have to wonder what reason Stark would need this armor, unless it’s just one of the many suits of armor that will be used to fight against the terrorist The Mandarin.
We do know that there is a new trailer for Iron Man 3 that runs two minutes and 25 seconds as it was recently classified by the Alberta Film Ratings. We hope the rumor that the new trailer will show up in front of Oz: The Great and Powerful on March 8 is true, and look forward to seeing if the new armor in the trailer matches the concept art of the armor that was released just a few days back.
Despite the first Iron Man 3 trailer being spectacular, this trailer seems even more incredible, and the separate sources gives this report a bit more credibility than we’d normally give to this type of leak.

It hasn’t been confirmed as to whether the concept art from ScreenRant (via CBM) is official or not, but it is interesting that the ‘Hulkbuster’ concept art was released just a few days ago and now we have a collaborating trailer description leak. Either way, we look forward to hopefully seeing a new Iron Man 3 trailer in the next two weeks.
