A reliable Hunger Games insider is offering a bit more info on the status of Gary Ross’ involvement with Catching Fire.
Russ Bowen, a North Carolina news reporter who’s been consistently reliable when it comes to Hunger Games news after they filmed in his coverage area, tweeted the following today:
I talked to some folks who told me Gary Ross is not officially out yet and negotiations could continue. Crew wants him back #CatchingFire

What’s new here? Bowen’s source doesn’t seem too confident that Ross will be returning. It’s also nice to hear that the cast/crew want him back (we’re not surprised!).
