Marvel has released three new Guardians of the Galaxy posters featuring Michael Rooker as Yondu, Glenn Close as Nova Prime and John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey.

We recently got an extended Guardians of the Galaxy trailer the same day that Marvel released 17 minutes of footage from the film at over 150 theaters across the U.S. last week.

Now the studio has released three new posters from characters that haven’t been focused on as much as the main gang of intergalactic misfits. Check out the HD posters below:

Michael Rooker, who played Meryl in AMC’s The Walking Dead, looks particularly incredible as the blue character Yondu. Glenn Close plays Nova Prime, the head of Nova Corps, which is an intergalactic military/police force. John C. Reilly plays Rhomann Dey, another employee of Nova Corps, who works under Nova Prime.

Marvel has also released a new TV spot that features Groot, the tree-character, who is played by Vin Diesel and looks after Rocket Raccoon. Watch the new TV spot below:

Marvel seems to be ramping up its promotion for Guardians of the Galaxy as it heads closer to its world premiere on August 1. We recently found out that fan-favorite Nathan Fillion will have a cameo in Guardians and you won’t believe who he’ll be playing.

Marvel recently released some new looks at Guardians of the Galaxy’s villains, which are Karen Gillan as Nebula and Lee Pace as Ronan The Accuser. The two new posters featured the villains on one and the heroes on the other and gave us our first great shot of Lee Pace as Ronan.

Guardians of the Galaxy’s previous trailer gave us some great looks at Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, and more importantly, showed us quite a bit more of Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket Raccoon.

Guardians of the Galaxy’s release date is set for August 1, 2014. Featuring an intergalactic group of Guardians, led by Star-Lord, they make a desperate stand to save the galaxy.

Two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper voices the machine-gun-wielding Rocket Raccoon and is joined by Vin Diesel as the tree-like Groot, with Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan and Dave Bautista filling out the leading roles.
