Fox has officially picked up New Girl, The Mindy Project, Raising Hope, and The Following for the 2013-2014 season!

Today Kevin Reilly, the Chairman of Entertainment at Fox, announced that New Girl was renewed for a third season, The Mindy Project for a second season, Raising Hope for a fourth season, and The Following for a second season! “We love working with these talented producers and casts who, week after week, create some of the funniest work on television,” said Reilly. “These shows are creatively vibrant, they have established a loyal and passionate audience and they will continue to define and grow the FOX comedy brand next season and beyond.”

These comedies have certainly earned the renewal. So far New Girl has been ranking number 1 for comedies in its core Women 18-34 demographic. It’s also ranked among the top 10 comedies for Adults 18-49. It was created by Liz Meriwether and is produced by Chernin Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Meriwether, Dave Finkel, Brett Baer, Jake Kasdan, Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope are executive producers.

The Mindy Project premiered as the number 1 new comedy for the 2012-2013 season among Women 18-34. The Mindy Project is created and written by Mindy Kaling. Kaling, Howard Klein, Matt Warburton and Michael Spiller are executive producers.

Raising Hope has also been among the top 20 sitcoms for Adults 18-34 as well as teens. Raising Hope was created by Greg Garcia and is produced by Amigos de Garcia Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television.

The Following is currently the number 2 broadcast drama and the number 3 drama overall this season. It is created, written and executive-produced by Kevin Williamson along with Marcos Siega as an executive producer.
