Jess and Nick have run into a serious issue explaining their living situation to dates tonight on New Girl season 4, episode 7, “Goldmine.”
On the last episode of New Girl Winston found out that he had a background check to pass for the police academy. And it was all hands on deck to make sure that he and the loft passed. Jess had a little secret hiding in her closet, a bag of meth.
So as the roommates tried to play it cool, Jess tried to dispose of the drugs. Too bad Nick can’t tell a lie without sweating like a maniac. Cece got called in to help but things only got worse when she tried to flush it down the toilet and the plumbing backed up.
Trying to save Winston’s career, Jess came clean about the meth. Only to find out that it was actually aquarium rocks.
The synopsis for ‘New Girl’ season 4, episode 7, ‘Goldmine,’ is:
“Nick pretends to be gay to make his status as Jess’ “ex” less of an issue to her new beau (guest star Stahl-David). To Coach’s annoyance, Winston works his “Long Game” on their attractive neighbors, Michelle (guest star Daddario) and Viv (guest star Stevens). Meanwhile, Schmidt panics when Cece considers having a breast reduction.”
