Bearclaw makes a surprising return tonight on New Girl season 4, episode 18, “Walk of Shame.”
On the last episode of New Girl Schmidt was in a panic because a spider was on the loose, which set off his arachnophobia. He didn’t want Fawn to see him acting that way and called on a spider hunt that no one else wanted to partake on. But it did allow Jess to corner Cece about who she had a crush on in the loft.
Jess was upset to find out that Winston knew who Cece liked. He tried to keep the secret by letting Jess think that Cece was crushing on Nick, but of course that wasn’t true. It did, however, lead to a very awkward conversation between Nick and Jess. Mostly because Nick thought they were talking about a popcorn machine.
Finally all was well when the spider was killed by Fawn, and Jess learned the truth.

“After a night of partying at Bearclaw’s (guest star Josh Gad), Jess and Cece make their way back to the loft and run into a familiar face. Meanwhile, Coach worries about bringing Nick and Winston around his sophisticated new girlfriend, May (guest star Meaghan Rath), in the all-new ‘Walk of Shame’ episode of ‘New Girl’ airing Tuesday, March 3 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”
