It’s time for the school field trip, which should be fun for Jess, but it is only plagued with problems tonight on New Girl season 4, episode 13, “Coming Out.”
On the last episode of New Girl Jess and Schmidt were determined to stop the night construction outside of their building. When they met Councilwoman Fawn Moscato, both had thought they’d found their way to end it. Jess followed Fawn’s advice and filled out some very long forms. While Schmidt thought that he could seduce Fawn into doing what he wanted.
Neither methods worked. Fawn ended up wrapping Schmidt around her finger and got him on her side. So Jess took it upon herself to rally the neighborhood and campaign at the council meeting. When Schmidt failed to stop her he also seemed to lose Fawn’s favor.
Nick and Coach had some worry of their own, in the form of Winston. Now graduated form the academy, they were scared he’d get hurt out in the field. But when Winston informed them that his training officer had quite the reputation they calmed down. Until they met her and saw how short she was. They took that to mean that she wasn’t capable. After following her and getting a beatdown they learned just how capable she is.
The synopsis for ‘New Girl’ season 4, episode 13, ‘Coming out,’ is:
“Jess struggles not to show favoritism to Ryan, now that they are officially a couple, which leads to a disastrous class field trip. Meanwhile, Schmidt gets an ulcer and Winston becomes obsessed with wearing a crystal in the all-new ‘Coming Out’ episode of ‘New Girl’ airing Tuesday, Jan. 13 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”
