Winston graduates from the Police Academy tonight on New Girl season 4, episode 12, “Shark.”

On the last episode of New Girl Ryan invited Jess to spend the holidays with his family in England. But getting there proves to be trickier than expected when all the flights are cancelled, including the rest of the loft mates’.

As everyone tried to get flights out, Jess got increasingly freaked out by her impending meeting with Ryan’s family. It only got worse when he sent her a picture of his family’s massive house. Santa stealing her gifts for them didn’t help either. Barry the ticket agent talked Jess out of going so she lied to Ryan and said her flight was cancelled.

The upside was that Barry got Nick and Winston first class tickets to go home. But when Nick realized that Jess was going to be alone for Christmas, he got off his flight. Schmidt, Cece, Coach, Winston, and Nick all gathered to talk Jess into going to England. But it was all for naught, just as Jess landed Ryan called to tell her he had flown back to LA to see her.
