On last week’s episode of New Girl, the gang introduced Cece to their drinking game, True American. This resulted in them all horribly hung over and semi comatose in bed together.
Cece then spent the remainder of the episode trying to right her drunken texts to her new boy toy, while Schmidt, Coach, and Winston tried to get friendly with their attractive new neighbors moving in.
Jess and Nick have bigger problems though. As they struggle to get ready for her godson’s birthday party Jess learns he never put the present together.
This somehow leads into a conversation about their future where they learn their dreams couldn’t be further apart. Both come to the realization that love might not be enough for them and they miss just being friends.
Now they just have to deal with the conundrum that is their over packed loft now that Schmidt has taken over Jess’ old bedroom.

“The morning after their break-up, Jess and Nick scramble to keep it a secret from the loftmates.
