Angela Kinsey and Eva Amurri will be bringing the drama to New Girl season 3. The pair will cause trouble for roomies Jess and Schmidt!
While Jess and Schmidt may be at opposite ends of the stick when it comes to their love lives, they will both be experiencing drama with co-workers.
TV Guide reports Kinsey will be portraying Jess’ co-worker Rose. Her character is described as a snobbish yet cool teacher who works at the school at which Jess got hired at the end of season 2.
Rose will take issue with the way Jess teaches, disliking her diligence and goody-goody personality. New Girl executive producer Liz Meriwether explains, “At the school, there’s some mean girl teachers that don’t like her there, and she’s trying to find her place at the new school and see if she can turn it into a permanent position.”
She adds that Jess will struggle to deal with the school politics.
Fans may remember Amurri from her appearance on New Girl season 1. The actress will be back to play Schmidt’s competitive co-worker Beth. But this time she’s going to cause trouble in his love life.
While we don’t know exactly what that means, she definitely won’t be vying for Schmidt’s attention. Meriwether says, “He’s forced to take desperate measures to figure it out. He potentially does some things that are not good.”
This may include trying to date both Cece and Elizabeth at the same time. Perhaps his co-worker finds out and tattles on him?
