A slew of guest starts have been announced for when New Girl returns in 2015, including a former flame for Jess, and a creepy admirer.
When New Girl returns January 6, Winston will be graduating from the police academy. Former Saturday Night Live player Nasim Pedrad will be portray Aly, Winston’s new training officer. Although Winston will have no issues with Aly, Nick and Coach will.
According to TV Line they’re worried about Aly’s short stature, but it’s probably just a distraction for them as they’re actually freaked out about the idea of Winston being a cop.
The synopsis for the episode reads: “After Winston graduates from the Police Academy, Nick and Coach worry when they see his new training officer (guest star Nasim Pedrad, MULANEY). Meanwhile, Jess uses Schmidt to try and influence a councilwoman (guest star Zoe Lister Jones, ‘Friends With Better Lives’) to stop the night construction taking place outside the loft in the all-new ‘Shark’ episode of ‘New Girl’ airing Tuesday, Jan. 6 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”
New Girl will also see the return of two amazing guest stars, Justin Long and Josh Gad. Paul, played by Long, makes a surprise appearance back into Jess’ life. Entertainment Weekly revealed that in an upcoming episode Jess and Cece will find themselves stranded after a girls night out. During their journey back to the loft, they’ll run into Paul.
But their weird night doesn’t end there! The girls will also run into Bearclaw, played by Gad, who had a not-so-secret crush on Jess. Since the episode is set to air in the spring, fans can speculate if Jess will be single at the time or not! Maybe a love connection with Paul could reform? Or will Bearclaw get a chance?
We’re just sad that Olaf won’t be making an appearance.
