Following the trend of meeting the roommates’ families on New Girl this season, Dennis Farina will be appearing on the show as Nick’s father!
So far in Season 2, New Girl fans have met Winston’s mother and sister, Jess’ parents, and Schmidt’s cousin. Next up, Nick! TV Line reports that Dennis Farina will be appearing as Nick’s father, Walt Miller. But the visit might not be welcomed. Walt is being described as a charming con man. That explains why Nick said he doesn’t like fathers in last night’s Thanksgiving episode.
The pair haven’t been in contact when Walt all of a sudden shows up. Because of this, Nick questions the reason for his father’s visit. It’s also being reported that some scenes were shot at a racetrack, the same one that was used in Farina’s last role in Luck. Sounds like Walt is into gambling! Could it be the con man will get himself into trouble while visiting Nick? While Nick suspects his father is up to no good, Jess and Winston will be ecstatic to meet Walt.
