New Girl is known for bringing on a slew of guest stars to appear on the comedy, but this latest casting may be a bit of a shocker. None other than pop star Taylor Swift will be making an appearance on the season finale.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Swift will be playing an “important guest” at Cece and Shivrang’s wedding taking place in the season 2 finale of New Girl.
This isn’t Swift’s first acting gig. She also made an appearance on the TV show CSI back in 2009. More recently she had a short appearance on the movie Valentines Day and voiced a character in the animated film The Lorax.
Recently, it was also revealed by TV Line that the season finale would be titled “Downton Abbey Christmas Special.” Oddly, Swift won’t be the only guest star. A badger described as being out-of-control will also be making an appearance at Cece’s wedding.
New Girl stars Zooey Deschanel (Jess), Jake Johnson (Nick), Max Greenfield (Schmidt), Lamorne Morris (Winston), and Hannah Simone (Cece) will also be in the season 2 finale. Satya Bhabha will be continuing his guest arc as Cece’s fiance.
