The viral campaign for Fringe is heating up as it releases a new video asking for the whereabouts of Peter Bishop.
The Fringe PR team is really getting us amped up for the final season! Take a look at the viral video below, which is surprisingly free of the usual subliminal messaging that can be found in the other protocol videos the Observers put out. If you haven’t seen the others, be sure to take a look at the creepy protocols they’ve put out regarding residency, travel, and cerebral scan.
There’s sparse subliminal messaging compared to the other protocol videos that have been put out, but there are other Easter eggs hidden in this video like the QR codes that appear at the 0:14 mark and the QR codes at the top of the video, which all lead to the protocol videos we linked above. There’s also this odd sound that we can’t quite make out at the 0:13-0:15 mark that sounds like Peter’s voice, maybe, but it’s so slurred and quick we couldn’t confirm it. What do you think?
Fringe returns to our screens on September 28 at 9 p.m. on Fox, and we’re so excited to see the show return with a completely different premise. We’ll be waiting to see how they handle the takeover of the Observers, and how the family reunion will play out on the season premiere.
