With a week left before the Flash season 2 premiere, we have a new poster and promo teasing the upcoming season.

The new poster, which was revealed by DC Comics, shows Barry undergoing a curious reaction to… something. The DC Comics write-up suggests this may be related to The Flash introducing the concept of the Multiverse — of there being more than one world — in season 2.

Check out the poster below:

Additionally, a new trailer for The Flash season 2 aired after the final episode of Vixen on CW Seed. The trailer also teases goings on with the Multiverse. Watch it below:

In this trailer, we see Jay Garrick speaking with Barry. “I hear they call you the Scarlet Speedster,” he comments. In his world, Jay reveals, he’s known as the Crimson Comet. We also see him don his iconic helmet.

“Zoom killed a lot of people in my world,” Jay says, speaking of the season’s Big Bad. “Let’s go see what you’re made of, Flash.” He and Barry then shake hands, implying the two will be working together to stop Zoom.

Meanwhile, Martin Stein tells Cisco, “This ability you have is a gift,” likely speaking of the metahuman ability Cisco discovered toward the end of season 1. “The very thing that makes you different is what makes you special.”

We have footage of Barry, as the Flash, rescuing Iris from something as well as the two interacting out of danger.

Interestingly, we also see a meeting between Barry, sans costume, with Leonard Snart at a diner.

The Flash season 2 premieres Tuesday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
