We know that there’s a new trailer out there somewhere, but will it be released today or by the end of the week?
Yesterday, the website OperationEarlyBird opened to the public with a countdown. Websites have been theorizing what could be at the other end of the timer and we are only hours away from finding out.

The folks at CinemaBlend seem to think that the latest Dark Knight Rises trailer will be released at the end of the countdown today while BatmanOnFilm is reporting that we’ll see the new trailer sometime in the next week.
Either way, we know that there’s a trailer in our near future, mainly because the people at Alberta Film Ratings (CBM) have a 2 minute and 3 second running time for the preview.
So now we play the waiting game. When do you think the trailer will see the light of day? Now, just like with any piece of Dark Knight Rises related news, a number of reports from people claiming to have seen a cut of the trailer have made it online.
Here’s an example, but like always we must stress that we are not confirming this as real. In fact, it’s probably a hundred percent fake, but we have a little over two hours of waiting still left to do and we’re not expecting you to just sit there with nothing to read.

-There’s only one or two shots of Catwoman – she’s doing some kind of side step move over three or four of Bane’s guys, very quick shot, and in another she’s turning her head real quick at the camera and grinning at someone off screen with people fighting in the background and one shot of Selina with Bruce and umbrella. She says “…You’re the one who will have to live with the guilt inside…The fear of becoming something you hate.”
-BANE looks great! A few shots of him in the trailer coming out of an airplane hanger and of him walking out into a cheering crowd of (thugs I guess) and throwing chains up in the air (I think he’s in prison here). He’s shirtless and he’s holding some kind of dust mask to his mouth.
UPDATE: Someone at CBM seems to have stumbled upon a map with a space to enter coordinates on OperationEarlyBird.com. We have the image for you below, does it seem like the real deal? Either way, we’ll find out in a few hours!
UPDATE #2: When the countdown on the site hit zero, the website attempted to redirect our browser to www.operationearlybird.com/map. The site is having issues at the moment, but we can probably safely assume that the picture below is the real deal!
