After the popular CW show about Superman’s beginnings ended after 10 seasons in 2011, it seems the CW wants to bring back those fans this fall with its three new series: Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, and Emily Owens, M.D. All three shows star either a Smallville character or actor.

Arrow is based on the comic book character Green Arrow/Oliver Queen, who was also a character in Smallville for its last five seasons. While Oliver Queen is played by a different actor in Arrow (Stephen Amell) and it’s set in a different world from Smallville, many fans are sure to still tune in given their familiarity with the character, since it’s the only other time the emerald archer has transformed from print to screen. It will also take Smallville’s old time slot before Supernatural, which has been moved to Wednesdays this fall. It premieres Oct. 10 at 8pm ET.

Smallville fans will still be able to see their former Oliver Queen actor Justin Hartley as a intern on the new show Emily Owens, M.D. where he will be just as handsome wearing a doctor smock as a green hood. Hartley stars as Will Collins, the long-time friend, coworker, and crush of Emily Owens (Mamie Gummer). This is the first medical drama to be aired on the CW in years, which also makes it more likely to bring new viewers to the CW as well as the fans Hartley made from Smallville. It premieres on Oct 16 at 9pm ET.

Beauty and the Beast stars Kristin Kreuk who played Lana Lang (Clark Kent’s first love interest before Lois Lane) in the first seven seasons of Smallville. She’s now Catherine Chandler in the CW remake of the 1980s show, which starred Linda Hamilton. Kreuk was chosen for the role by fellow Smallville veterans, Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson, who both wrote and produced for Smallville and are currently working on Beauty and the Beast. Having written Kreuk’s final breakup scene with Clark Kent and then brought him together with Lois Lane, they are perfectly fit to bring another epic fantasy romance to television. Beauty and the Beast premieres at 9pm ET on October 11 after a new episode of The Vampire Diaries.
