A ’90s Nickelodeon classic is very likely coming back to our screens. The kids network is currently in talks with Clarissa Explains It All star Melissa Joan Hart and the show’s creator for a reboot.

According to THR, the Clarissa Explains It All reboot will depict the titular star in the role of mother to a few kids. Creator Mitchell Kriegman is also in talks to write and executive produce.

Kriegman released a Clarissa book in 2015 titled Things I Can’t Explain which served as a sequel to the hit series. We shared an exclusive clip from the audiobook prior to its publication. In the novel, 20-something Clarissa “tries to navigate the unemployment line, mompreneurs, and the collision of two people in love.”

Unlike many reboots, the new Clarissa Explains It All series is poised to stay at its original home. In recent years Nick has worked to bring back several hit shows, including Hey, Arnold, Rocko’s Modern Life, and Blue’s Clues. In their words, their thinking is that young adults who once watched these shows will tune into the reboots with new generations of children.

Last month in an interview with THR, Hart suggested that Clarissa still had room to grow — unlike her other hit series Sabrina the Teenage Witch. “I like the way we left Sabrina. I think Sabrina ended on a really great note, and I don’t think you want to go back and explore that. At the same time, I think Clarissa ended on a note that could be explored again, because it didn’t really have an ending — it sort of ended,
