The Lizzie Bennet Diaries continues with a new bonus vlog, which includes several steamy questions and an unexpected secret.
In a new video titled “Dr. Gardiner’s Seminar – Bonus Vlog 2,” Lizzie (Ashley Clements) and Darcy (Daniel Vincent Gordh) pick up where they left off in the first bonus vlog.
As in the initial video, Lizzie is answering questions for students in Dr. Gardiner’s “Hyper mediation and new media seminar.” (Say that three times fast.) But this time, Darcy joins Lizzie to address the personal questions posed by the fanpeople students in the class.
Though the questions for Lizzie and Darcy do touch on the professional, they are decidedly slanted toward the personal (which is only emphasized through the proliferation of adoring glances between the two.)
The questions take their most revealing turn when a student asks about the contents of Darcy’s letter to Lizzie. Darcy recalls his emotions while writing the letter, but admits that he can’t recall the exact wording – and since Lizzie burned the letter, per his request, they will never know.
At this, Lizzie flushes. “I couldn’t destroy the letter,” she says. She knew it was too important to burn, and kept the letter in her diary. Darcy is surprised, but he accepts Lizzie’s answer. The video ends in a near kiss between the two, which may fog up your computer screen.
“See you around,” Lizzie tells the camera.
For fans who are desperate to find out exactly what Darcy wrote in his letter, The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet will hit bookstores on June 24. Written by show runner Bernie Su and producer Kate Rorick, the book will include “revelatory details about the Bennet household… untold stories from Netherfield, Lizzie’s thoughts and fears about life after grad school and becoming an instant web celebrity.”
