Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling star in the Blade Runner sequel that’s been 35 years in the making. Watch a new trailer here.

30 years after the original Blade Runner, Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford)’s services are once again required.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Blade Runner 2049 follows Ryan Gosling’s Officer K, who is shown in this new trailer seeking out Deckard for a mission that could change everything:

The trailer also gives us a good look at the various other major players in this long-awaited sequel, including Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Ana De Armas, MacKenzie Davis, and Dave Bautista.

The official synopsis reads:

“Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.”

Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters on October 6, 2017.
