One highly anticipated partnership was the one between The Avengers and The Guardians of the Galaxy. We got a brief view of the Guardians interacting with Thor in the final moments of the Infinity War trailer, and a new still released by USA Today gives us another look at their partnership.

The image shows Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) standing over Thor. It’s not clear what’s happened to the god of Thunder, but it’s probably a safe bet that things went a bit south when that giant ship descended behind his in the post-credits scene of Ragnorak.

While we don’t officially know who was driving the ship that threatened the fleeing Asgardians, it’s been assumed to be Thanos. So what kind of craziness did Thor find himself in that left him in such a state? And if he is this bloodied and beaten, how are the rest of the Asgardians faring?

We’ll have to wait until May 4 to really get a full understanding of what’s happened. However, with Black Panther releasing on February 16, it’s safe to say we’ll get a post-credits scene to help set up Infinity War and make the wait to May a bit easier. So mark your calendars, Marvel fans, this year is going to be a big one!
