In the newest Avengers behind-the-scenes clip, Robert Downey Jr. is said to have been considered “the godfather of The Avengers.”

The Avengers Blu-ray/DVD clips continue to roll out as the cast and crew discuss just how essential Robert Downey Jr. was during the making of The Avengers.

With the helicarrier featurette being released last week, the raw fight sequence footage that was released this past weekend, and the featurette focusing on The Hulk and Captain America being released as well, the amount of clips are starting to make us wonder if anything will be left for the Blu-ray behind-the-scenes disc.

Although, we’re sure director Joss Whedon wouldn’t dare disappoint his rabid fans. The Avengers Blu-ray/DVD hits stores September 25.
