The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 trailer shows Sabrina being crowned the Queen of Hell in order to save Nick.

Life in high school can be tough. There’s homework, bad teachers, group projects, mean girls, useless pep rallies…and, if you’re Sabrina Spellman, the fact that your boyfriend is trapped in Hell.

As fans will remember from last season, Sabrina defeated her father Lucifer at great personal cost to herself, as her boyfriend Nicholas Scratch sacrificed himself and became a human prison for the dark lord of Hell.

Season 3 of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will see its titular character struggle to bring balance to the world and underworld, while also concocting a way to save her beloved boyfriend.

Check out the new season 3 trailer below, followed by the official synopsis for the season!

Though she defeated her father Lucifer in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 2, the Dark Lord remains trapped within the human prison of her beloved boyfriend, Nicholas Scratch. Sabrina can’t live with herself, knowing that Nick made the ultimate sacrifice and is suffering, burning in Hell under Madam Satan’s watchful eye. So with an assist from her mortal friends, ‘The Fright Club’ (consisting of Harvey, Rosalind, and Theo), Sabrina makes it her mission to free him from eternal damnation and bring him back into her arms. However, the Dark Lord’s unseating has sent shockwaves through the realms—and, with no one on the throne, Sabrina must assume the title of ‘Queen’ to defend it against a challenger, the handsome Prince of Hell Caliban. Meanwhile, in Greendale, a mysterious carnival rolls into town, bringing with it a threat to the Spellmans and the coven: A tribe of pagans looking to resurrect an ancient evil.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 2 brings back Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, of course, along with Ross Lynch’s Harvey, Gavin Leatherwood’s Nicholas Scratch, Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda and Lucy Davis as Aunt Hilda. Joining the cast are Sam Corlett (The Dry) as Caliban, a prince of Hell, Skye P. Marshall (The Fix) as Mambo Marie, a voodoo priestess who helps Prudence and Ambrose track down the villain Blackwood, and Jonathan Whitesell (Riverdale) as Robin, a man with an “elfish” quality.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be released January 24 on Netflix.
