Netflix is giving Cowboy Bebop fans a first look at its forthcoming adaptation of the hit anime series of the same name.

Cowboy Bepop fans still have a few more months to wait before the highly anticipated Netflix adaptation makes its global premiere. Those excited, however, can get a taste of what they can expect from the series adaptation right now.

On Monday (August 23), Netflix unveiled a slew of all new first look stills from the upcoming live-action series adaptation, which feature John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, and Daniella Pineda in action as Mike Spiegel, Jet Black, and Faye Valentine.

Based on the hit anime series of the same name, Netflix’s Cowboy Bebopis described as an action-paked space Western. The series follows three bounty hunters (aka “cowboys”) all of whom are attempting to outrun the past.

Though they couldn’t be more different, the deadly Spike Spiegel (Cho), Jet Black (Shakir) and Faye Valentine (Pineda) find themselves joining forces to form a scrappy, snarky crew hellbent on tracking down the some of the most dangerous criminals in the solar system. It’s not long, however, before each of their pasts come back to bite them.

Behind the camera, Andre Nemec serves as showrunner on the streamer’s Cowboy Bebop adaptation, with original anime series director Shinichirō Watanabe serving as a consultant on the series. Fellow original anime series vet Yoko Kanno is also on board to return for the Netflix adaptation. Kanno will serve as composer for the streamer’s adaptation.

Executive producer on the project include Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios, Makoto Asanuma, Shin Sasaki and Masayuki Ozaki of Sunrise Inc., Tim Coddington, Tetsu Fujimura, Michael Katleman, Matthew Weinberg, and Christopher Yost.

Cowboy Bebop debuts exclusively via Netflix on November 19.
