Netflix is gearing up to serve up some bonus content for The Witcher fans who just can’t wait to check out season 2 of the highly anticipated fantasy series.

On Wednesday (July 21), the streamer unveiled the first teaser trailer for The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf— an all new animal origin story that takes place long before we catch up with Gerald in the live-action series.

Nightmare of the Wolf is set to follow along on the adventures of Vesemir, who later becomes Geralt’s mentor. As a young witcher, Vesemir escaped his life of poverty to slay monsters for coins. But when a strange new monster begins terrorizing a politically fraught kingdom, Vesemir finds himself on a frightening adventure that forces him to confront the demons of his past.

Additionally, Kwang II Han will serve as director in addition to serving as an executive producer on the project.
