If you loved sitting in front of your TV or iPad on the weekends streaming your favorite movies, you might want to make new plans. Nearly 1,800 titles will expire from Netflix streaming on May 1.

According to Slate, the movie catalog of studios like Warner Bros., MGM and Universal will be pulled from the Netflix instant streaming service and “become exclusive to Warner Instant Archive.” The Warner Instant Archive offers a free 2-week trial followed by a subscription service of $9.99 per month.

If you’re wondering what movies and titles you will no longer be able to enjoy in the Netflix instant streaming service, check out this list provided by InstantWatcher.com.

Such titles as the Cruel Intentions, Big Daddy, and many of the James Bond 007 movies will be suddenly gone from your instant queue, so go enjoy them while you can!

What are your thoughts on the studios pulling their movies only to offer a separate subscription service themselves? Are any of these titles even worth paying a new monthly subscription for?

With the expansion of streaming video services in the last couple of years it seems that the consumer doesn’t have one central place to put their money (like Netflix sort of used to be!).
