Netflix has just released a major new look at their upcoming TV adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, giving fans their first glimpse at Count Olaf and the Baudelaire children!

Watch a brand new Series of Unfortunate Events trailer, which unveils footage from the series for the first time, below. Neil Patrick Harris looks delicious in the role of the Baudelaire’s new caretaker Count Olaf. “You… haven’t… the faintest idea,” he warns the children after they describe him as “horrible” and “awful.”

As if that weren’t enough to fill your appetite, we also have these three new photos to freak out over. Once again we get glimpses of Olaf as well as the three children, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny:

“Based on the internationally best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler) and starring Emmy and Tony Award winner Neil Patrick Harris, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny – whose evil guardian Count Olaf (Harris) will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death. The eight-episode series is a Netflix original production, executive produced by Emmy Award winner Barry Sonnenfeld and Daniel Handler, and also stars Patrick Warburton (Lemony Snicket), Joan Cusack (Justice Strauss), Malina Weissman (Violet Baudelaire) and Louis Hynes (Klaus Baudelaire).”

All eight episodes of A Series of Unfortunate Events hit Netflix January 13, 2017. Watch another trailer — which stars narrator Lemony Snicket — in our previous report.
