Cobra Kai will live on at Netflix! The streamer has just renewed the Karate Kid continuation for season 4.

Netflix wrapped up the week by delivering some great news to fans of Cobra Kai. On Friday (October 2), the streaming giant announced that it has officially renewed the series for a fourth season.

Word of the season 4 renewal comes just a few months before the hit series’s third season is set to premiere via Netflix on January 8, 2021.

Written and executive produced by Josh Heald, John Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, the series is a continuation of the iconic Karate Kid franchise.

Cobra Kai is set three decades after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, but the tension between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) hasn’t quelled. In fact, it’s seeped over into their respective dojos.

In Cobra Kai season 3, viewers will pick back up with what transpires after the violent high school brawl that took place between Daniel and Johnny’s dojos– a fight which, unfortunately, has left Miguel (Xolo Mariduena) in pretty rough shape.

Meanwhile, Daniel’s (Macchio) searching for answers in his past, while Johnny (Zabka) is seeking redemption. Kreese (Martin Kove), on the other hand, is continuing to manipulate his vulnerable students in an effort to bring his vision for dominance to fruition.

If you just can’t wait to get a sneak peek with regards to what’s in store in terms of season 3, you’re in luck.
