Season 6 marks the final season of the sci-fi series. The show, which first debuted back in 2015 on Fox, was cancelled by the network in May 2018. Netflix swooped in and saved it following an impassioned fan campaign back in June 2018.

This past June, the online streaming giant announced that it had renewed Lucifer for a sixth and final season.

The sci-fi crime dramedy focuses on the titular Lord of Hell. Bored and unhappy with his life in the underworld, he resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.

Lucifer season 6 debuts via Netflix on September 10, 2021.
