On Monday it was announced that Fox would not be renewing the show. But all is not lost for Terra Nova fans. At least one buyer is showing interest in the show, Netflix!
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Netflix is interested in taking over the show that still has appeal to fans thanks to executive producer Steven Spielberg and star Jason O’Mara.
However, it should be noted the talks are still in the early stages and nothing is official yet. While Netflix has picked up original scripted programs in the past, THR warns that Netflix seems to come up as an option anytime a series is canceled.
Although the show averaged 7.5 million viewers it also came with a high price tag – the premiere reportedly costing at least $10 million alone.
