Netflix has finally set an official launch date for Australia and New Zealand!

Welcome to the world of Netflix, Australians and New Zealanders. Get your affairs in order, because as soon as you sign up for the streaming service, you’ll never see daylight. Ever. Again.

Netflix is a global company with branches all over the world, and yet it has somehow evaded an entire continent until now. But on March 24, Australia and New Zealand will finally have access to the streaming site, and all the original programming that follows.

The original programming includes House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Marco Polo, Sense8, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Marvel’s Daredevil, and DreamWorks Animation’s The Adventures of Puss in Boots.

Kiwis and Aussies who are planning to stream on the go will be happy to learn that Netflix has signed a deal with iiNet (Australia) and Vodafone (New Zealand), which means that customers will not be charged extra for the data they use to watch Netflix content.

Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings says in a statement, “Many Aussies and Kiwis have heard a lot about Netflix over the years, and we’re excited they’ll get to experience our unique blend of Netflix original content, local series and films, and popular movies and TV shows from around the world, all for a low monthly price.”

The price has not yet been set for the various plans which Netflix offers, but more information should become available soon.
