The first teaser trailer for Army of Thieves is here and it’s bound to excite fans who flipped for the streamer’s Army of the Dead.
Zack Snyder is looking to expand on the world he built with Army of the Dead— and moviegoers looking to come along for the ride won’t want to miss the first teaser trailer for Army of Thieves.
Described as a prequel to Snyder’s zombie heist flick, which dropped via Netflix this past May, the all new action flick centers on the first film’s Dieter (Matthais Schweighöfer)— a small town bank teller who finds himself recruited by a mysterious woman offering him the adventure of a lifetime.
From there, Dieter finds himself joining a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.

Joining Schweighöfer in starring in the forthcoming heist flick are Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Guz Khan, and Jonathan Cohen.
Behind the camera, Schweighöfer also serves as director on Army of Thieves. Shay Hatten penned the script based on a story conceived by Hatten and Zack Snyder. Producers on the project include Snyder, Schweighöfer, Deborah Snyder, Wesley Coller, and Dan Maag.
Army of Thieves is slated to debut via Netflix sometime in the Fall of 2021.
