Nelly Furtado follows “Big Hoops (Bigger The Better )” with the more inspirational “Spirit Indestructible” – a song more reminiscent of “I’m Like a Bird” than “Promiscuous.”

The title track off The Spirit Indestructible, scheduled for Sept. 18, the new single “is an ode to the spirit which resides in all of us and triumphs over anything. It is inspired by people I have met, and special moments in history that I have read about. Spirituality is one of the underlying themes on the album,” Furtado said.
