Magician-actor-performer-dancer-etc. Neil Patrick Harris doesn’t just have the Oscars to look forward to: in the fall of 2015, his new NBC variety show debuts!

The network is already beginning its promotional campaign now, with the first promo for the series airing this Sunday at the Super Bowl (or as Barney Stinson would say: the Super BRO-wl).

Neil Patrick Harris’ new NBC show is based on the British variety series Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Harris has said of Saturday Night Takeaway, “As I watched the show, I couldn’t stop smiling. Now that I’ve seen many seasons, my face hurts. It’s a game changer.”
As for why he’s bringing it to the U.S., Harris explained, “nothing like this has been done before, and its unique structure fits right into my random skill set. I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and have some fun!”
The series will feature a variety (hence the name!) of comedy sketches, musical numbers, mini game shows, hidden-camera celebrity pranks and appearances by A-list celebrities.
