A new trailer for Neighbors, the upcoming comedy starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron, has been released.

The film stars Seth Rogen (who also produces with his frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg) and Rose Bryne as two new parents living in a seemingly very nice neighborhood. It all seems to be going fine until a college fraternity moves into the house next door. Led by Zac Efron and Dave Franco, the fraternity proves to be more of a problem than the parents could have ever imagined.

Here’s the brand new trailer (via The Playlist):

Even though the trailer is only a green-band trailer, it does seem to up the ante over the red-band first trailer. In the first trailer it looked like the fraternity only went after Rogen and Byrne because they were mean and liked messing with their neighbors that had a kid. In reality it turns out that everything could have gone smoothly had they not called the cops during a loud party after Efron specifically asked them not to.

The first trailer was packed with a lot of jokes, and so is this one. Assuming there is still good material left in the movie that we haven’t seen yet, this film looks like it could be a very enjoyable comedy. Rogen has had a fairly strong good movie to bad movie ratio lately, so judging by the trailer we’re excited for this one. Will it be as good as This is the End? Maybe not, but it looks strong either way.

Here’s the plot synopsis:

Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne lead the cast of “Neighbors,” a comedy about a young couple suffering from arrested development who are forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby. “Neighbors” is directed by Nick Stoller (“Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “Get Him to the Greek”).

‘Neighbors’ is set to open May 9, 2014
