Narcos fans rejoice: The Neflix crime drama starring Pedro Pascal is coming back for seasons 3 and 4.

Beware of Narcos season 2 spoilers!

Narcos launched in 2015 as an ambitious drama series set in Colombia, and chronicling the life of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar.

The second season debuted on Netflix last Friday, September 2, and (seriously, spoiler alert) seemed to put an, er, pin in the story.

True to the story on which it was based, Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) met his sticky end in the season 2 finale, which might lead viewers to conclude that Narcos had come to a similar end.

But Netflix announced Tuesday that Narcos is coming back for two more seasons, continuing the story of DEA agent Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal), and shifting its focus to another iconic Colombian crime story: That of the Cali Cartel.

(They’re not being subtle about spoilers, are they?)

Executive producer Eric Newman tells EW, I think that there’s a lot of story left to be told in Colombia. This show has always been about cocaine. We purposely did not call the show Pablo Escobar or Medellin … If somebody wants another season of the show, we would sit down and draw from the pretty massive amount of real estate and research that we’ve done and do something kind of cool.”

Are you looking forward to seeing Javier Peña’s post-Escobar journey in Colombia?
