Mark your calendars, Saturday Night Live fans— season 47 officially has a premiere date.

NBC has officially announced that season 47 of SNL will officially make its debut on October 2.

This year’s big premiere falls in line with last year’s premiere of season 46, which officially kicked off on October 3.

Shortly after news broke, the long running comedy sketch series took to its socials to spread the good news of their impending return with eager fans far and wide.

“Season 47 October 2” tweeted SNL, along with a short teaser announcing the forthcoming premiere.

Still unclear is which cast members will be returning for the forthcoming season. Specifically, all eyes seem to be on long standing cast members like Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson, and Pete Davidson, all of whom have sparked exit rumors over the course of the past year as they pursue more and more opportunities outside of SNL.

Also yet to be announced is the new season’s first round of hosts and musical guests, though more information on that is expected to come within the next few weeks.
