It’s the end of the line for NBC ‘s Manifest. The drama series has been cancelled after three seasons, but the show’s creator is hoping to find a new home for it elsewhere.

News of NBC’s decision to cancel Manifest after just three seasons came down late on Monday (June 14) night.

Series creator Jeff Rake took to Twitter shortly after news broke to address the fans of the series. While Rake kicked off his tweet by lamenting over the cancellation, the showrunner also assured fans that they’re hoping the series will be able to find a new home elsewhere.

“My dear Manifesters, I’m devastated by NBC’s decision to cancel us. That we’ve been shut down in the middle is a gut punch to say the least. Hoping to find a new home. You the fans deserve an ending to your story. Thanks for the love shown to me, cast, and crew. #savemanifest”

While social media campaigns calling for other networks or streamers to save series can be hit or miss, it’s possible that Manifest might find some success in calling for a savior to swoop in and pick them up.

As Deadline points out, Manifest has been doing quite well over on Netflix where it’s stayed in the no. 1 spot on the online streaming giant’s Top 10 list for the past three days.

It seems like only time will tell if the series will be successful in finding a new place to call home for future seasons.

News of Manifest’s cancellation comes on the heels of word that NBC has also decided to pull the plug on its musical dramedy, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. The aforementioned series is, similarly, hoping to find a new home with another network.
