Fox released a statement denying reports that Naya Rivera has been fired from Glee. Read about the network’s official statement as well as all the information we have regarding the rumors surrounding Naya.

On Saturday Fox set the record straight about Naya Rivera in a statement released to The Associated Press saying, “There is no truth to the rumor Naya has been fired from the show. She remains under contract to ‘Glee.'”

We previously reported that Naya had possibly been dropped from the season 5 finale. While Fox has yet to comment on her absence in the upcoming finale, her publicist was fast to correct the story going around that she had been dropped from her record label as well.

People have also been saying that tensions are at an all-time high between Naya and her co-star Lea Michele. On Saturday at the premiere of Lea’s film Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return her publicist was telling people that Lea would not comment on any questions regarding Naya.

Naya herself has kept quiet on the entire subject but did take to Twitter on Friday to say, “To the best fans in the world, thank you for all the [love]! Don’t ever let the he say she say get you down. Whether it’s in school, home, or all over the Internet lol. Hold your head high, stay true to yourself, and know you are loved! Xo”

While we don’t know why these rumors have been spreading, at least all the Santana fans can let out a sigh of relief knowing that Naya will still be very much a part of the the show.

Are you relieved to hear that Naya will be returning next season?

The next episode of Glee airs on Tuesday, May 6 at 8 pm eastern/pacific on Fox.
