One of The CW’s pilot projects for the upcoming fall season is a futuristic fairytale called The Selection. And they’ve just got a major name involved, The Chronicles of Narnia‘s William Moseley!

Deadline reports that Moseley, best known for portraying Peter Pevensie in the Narnia films, joins Aimee Teegarden and Ethan Peck in the anticipated The Selection, playing the character Aspen Leger.

The series is based on an upcoming book series (the first book will be released April 24) by Kiera Cass, which is described as, “An epic romance set 300 years in the future.”

Main character America Singer (Teegarden) is a poorgirl who enters a competition to marry Prince Maxon (Peck) and become queen of “a war-torn nation at a crossroads.” Moseley’s Aspen is the secondary male lead, who is also a romantic interest for America despite his lower standing.
