Everyone is a suspect in this first trailer for Murder on the Orient Express, based on the novel by Agatha Christie, directed by Kenneth Branagh and host to an absolutely star-studded cast.

If you were unaware of just how much star power Murder on the Orient Express had going for it, this trailer will definitely clear that up.

We already knew that Josh Gad, Daisy Ridley, and Dame Judy Dench were involved, thanks to those hysterical videos of Gad’s where he and Dench beg for Star Wars spoilers, but beyond those three, we also see Penélope Cruz, Leslie Odom Jr., Michele Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe, Johnny Depp, and Branagh himself.

While any murder mystery is bound to dip into wells of darkness, this trailer has a bit of an edge to it (or maybe that’s just the Imagine Dragons effect). Branagh told EW, “I think what I found in the book again, and in the screenplay, was that it unleashed something very primal, very kind of grisly. I realized that we could find a way to have the fun of Agatha Christie, but have the absolutely deadly intention behind it, and the danger. I think we’re making a scarier film than people might imagine. We’re not trying to turn it into something it isn’t, but I think we’re away from the drawing room mystery, and we’re into something [else]. Because the book is also a dark psychological revenge drama.”
