Disney has released a great new trailer for The Muppets Most Wanted, and it’s structured around the first new song from the film titled “Sequel Song.”

The Muppet gang’s new song pokes fun at the idea of doing a sequel like all studios do in Hollywood. They also note that the plot for Most Wanted has to be good (“All we need now is a half decent plot”), but chances are it won’t live up to the original (“Everyone knows that the sequel’s never quite as good”).

There’s also a funny reference to a potential new Toy Story movie from Pixar (“The studio wants more while they wait for Tom Hanks to make Toy Story 4”), and a line from Ricky Gervais in which he gives Kermit and idea for the sequel.

The trailer begins at what looks like the end of the 2011 The Muppets when the crowds leave and the puppets wonder what’s next. Watch below:

Interestingly, the song uses the line “The Muppets again” repeatedly at the end of the song. This phrase was actually the original title for the sequel until Disney changed it to “Most Wanted” last June.

The film’s soundtrack track includes a different version of this song featuring Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett with the Muppets.

The synopsis – as loosely described in the new trailer – is below. Muppets Most Wanted opens in theaters March 21, 2014 and stars human actors Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey.

Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine — the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit the Frog — and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.
