After the Teen Wolf season 3 mid-season finale, “Lunar Ellipse,” aired tonight, we got a great look at footage relevant to the final 12 episode.
The video is short, but with a five month hiatus in front of us, we’ll take anything!
The sneak peek shows Isaac and Allison making out in her bed. Allison is obviously worried that Scott isn’t over their relationship, but Isaac assures her he is. He also encourages Allison to move on as well.
She gives in, and Isaac takes his shirt off. Allison pauses and asks what is around Isaac’s neck. There seems to be a string there, and who should pop out but…Kate Argent!
MTV warned us of a big surprise, but we definitely never saw that coming!
Allison pulls out a knife from underneath her, but she quickly wakes up. The only problem is that in real life Allison is also hiding a knife under her pillow.
What do you think is going on? Is Allison just hallucinating, or could Kate really be making her way back? Does this perhaps have something to do with the Kitsune myth and their ability to sometimes (depending on the legend) shape-shift into other people’s forms?

The second half of Teen Wolf season 3 will air on January 6. At the moment, we don’t know much about next year’s plot line, other than it will center on Japanese mythology, and the Kitsune myth in particular. Casting news includes Arden Cho as Kira and Douglas Jones as the murderous villain Barrow.
